Janet's Circle focuses on entrepreneurs by providing a
relaxed and open environment to share ideas and create new approaches for achieving
greater success in a competitive market with out of the box solutions.
Venice, CA: Jagmedia, an interactive Web + Graphics Studio started in 2001 by Janet A. Gervers, offers a full spectrum of creative including interactive web sites, email newsletters, branding, search engine optimization, web video, social media, print graphics and logo design. Past/present clients have included: Venice Chamber of Commerce, Southern CA. Jewish Sports Hall of Fame, Artiba Cosmetics, Directv and Saatchi & Saatchi, among others. Prior to launching Jagmedia, Janet held positions at Federated Dept. Stores, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, US Search and a number of dotcoms. She is one of the original Silicon Valley Website Designers and a Graphic Design graduate of the U. of Cincinnati.In 2007, Ms. Gervers founded Janet's Circle for Entrepreneurs, a dynamic monthly networking mixer dedicated to connecting entrepreneurs and business professionals with quality networking and brainstorming opportunities to assist with challenges they face and present new ideas and solutions. Networking mixers are held all over Los Angeles and recent events have included such venues as ING Direct in West LA, City National Building in Downtown, Beverly Hills Country Club, Canal Club, The G2 Gallery, and the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop in Beverly Hills to name a few.
Most mixers are located in the West Los Angeles area and are the 4th Monday evening of the month from 7-9pm. the entrance fee includes drinks, appetizers and parking when available; it's $15 cash only at door without RSVP. There are other special events that Janet's Circle produces as well, in addition to partnering with other Networking organizations such as Mixxed in and the Essential Entrepreneur's Dream Big event.
